June 9, 2018 - Los Angeles - L.A. Wolves FC had to break out of its longest losing streak of the season to stay in the playoff race.

Shaking off the sting of consecutive losses, L.A. Wolves FC controlled the tempo to defeat Newcastle United FC, 4-2, on Saturday, June 9, in United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) Pro Premier Western Conference game at Lake Forest Sports Complex.

L.A. Wolves FC Head Coach Felipe Bernal said, "Feels good to get a win again. After two losses it gets tough and the pressure mounts but the boys showed the ability to find the response necessary this time. Will it carry over to our big game next week? Hard to tell. We've been up-and-down lately."

L.A. Wolves FC (7-2-1 overall) next plays California United FC 2 in a UPSL Pro Premier Western Conference game at Orange County Great Park on Saturday, June 16.
