June 28, 2017 – Los Angeles, CA – L.A. Wolves FC responded well to pressure last week and now can put a bow on a rebuilding year.

With a first-round playoff bye within grasp, L.A. Wolves FC hosts Valley United SC at John Anson Ford Park (8000 Park Ln., Bell Gardens, CA 90201), at 7 p.m. on Sunday, July 1, 2018.

Admission is free for this event. The game will be streamed live at www.mycujoo.com/lawolvesfc.

L.A. Wolves FC Head Coach Felipe Bernal said, “Last week we earned an important victory so this game against Valley United SC will be to hold on to what we’ve earned. A win gets us a week off, which will be good because it’s been a long season and the guys have some knocks so it’ll be good for them to get the rest. But we need to prove first that we deserve it by putting in a solid performance against Valley United SC and ending our regular season with a win.”

L.A. Wolves FC, coached by Felipe Bernal, defeated L.A. Galaxy OC PSC, 4-2, in its most recent league game on Saturday, June 23.

Currently alone in second place in the United Premier Soccer League Pro Premier Western Conference, L.A. Wolves FC (8-3-1 overall, 25 points) has qualified for the UPSL Western Conference playoffs in each of its eight league seasons.

Valley United SC (3-8-0 overall, 9 points) has scored just 11 goals in 11 matches this season, and sits just outside the relegation zone in the UPSL Pro Premier Western Conference.
