L.A. Wolves FC Ready For UPSL Western Conference Playoff Semifinal vs. Santa Winds FC

July 19, 2017 – Los Angeles, Calif. – L.A. Wolves FC knows the task ahead requires six victories and zero losses if the club is to repeat as UPSL Spring Season champions.

With nothing but knockout round games remaining on its fixture list, L.A. Wolves FC, the 2017 UPSL champions, hosts Santa Ana Winds FC at Lake Forest Sports Complex (28000 Rancho Pkwy, Lake Forest, CA 92630), at 7 p.m. on Sunday, July 22, 2018.

Admission is free for this event. The game will be streamed live on mycujoo.com.

L.A. Wolves FC Head Coach Felipe Bernal said, “This is the start of the playoffs for us, which means every touch, every possession is crucial to the result. We've had excellent trainings the last two weeks and the squad is healthy and ready. Team chemistry is good and we expect to get top performances from here on out. We know Winds FC is more than capable, but we've studied them and think we've got a good game plan ready. We're excited for this game on Sunday night.”

L.A. Wolves FC, coached by Felipe Bernal, defeated Valley United SC 4-1 its UPSL Pro Premier Western Conference regular-season finale on Saturday, July 7.

The second-place team in the United Premier Soccer League Pro Premier Western Conference, L.A. Wolves FC (9-3-1 overall, 28 points) has won three of its last four league matches.

Santa Ana Winds FC (9-4-0 overall, 27 points) finished third in the UPSL Pro Premier Western Conference, winning four of its last five league matches including a 5-4 victory over L.A. Wolves FC on Sunday, May 20.

L.A. Wolves FC are an American Soccer club based in Los Angeles, California. We are named after the Los Angeles Wolves, who played in the United Soccer Association in 1967 and the North American Soccer League in 1968.

L.A. Wolves FC are a charter member for the UPSL (United Premier Soccer League) and has qualified for the First Round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup three consecutive years (2016-’18). The club also manages a reserve squad and oversees L.A. Wolves FC Youth Soccer Program.
